Writing to me

Direct is better.

This site exists to test and refine a concept developed as a Master's degree capstone. Write directly if you would like to tell me where the research is wrong. This is not a financing enquiry line — no deals are reviewed, analyzed, or placed here.

On writing to me · in my own voice

Direct is better. There is no team behind this and no form that routes you into a queue.

The message comes to me, and I answer it myself.

Conversations I am seeking

  • Senior advisors considering one of the seven board seats

  • Debt funds, private credit sources, and participating lenders in hospitality

  • Hotel owners and sponsors with financing, recapitalization, or disposition needs

  • Potential partners or co-founders with complementary credit, capital, or technical depth

  • Institutional and advisory firms exploring collaboration on hospitality mandates

What I am not seeking: unsolicited service pitches, generic partnership proposals, or introductions without a stated purpose.

Maintaining the Blueprint

How this site stays a living document.

  1. Quarterly revision

Current Focus is rewritten every quarter; open questions are retired as they are answered and replaced with the next ones.

  2. Decisions recorded

Board conversations produce documented decisions, and those decisions change the pages here rather than sitting in a notebook.

  3. Evidence added

Closed transactions, published analysis, and filled board seats are added as they occur — the site should always be checkable.

What I have been told so far

Corrections received, published as they arrive.

When someone in the industry writes to tell me a part of this is wrong, I intend to say so here, in their words where they allow it. This section stays honest about its own length.

Nothing yet. No practitioner has written to correct any part of this project, which means every idea on this site is still untested by anyone who does the work for a living. Read that as the strongest disclaimer on the site.

Coda

The good, the bad, and the ugly. I mean it.
